Personal Security Series - Day Five: Trauma Management
$300.00

The Lodestone Training and Consulting Personal Security Series is designed to empower you to safely use the firearms at hand and defend yourself.   This series of classes will teach how to use and manipulate Pistols, Rifles, and Shotguns in a confined location such as a home or house of worship. We will teach you principles, or truths, then you will use what techniques work best for your life and circumstances.   These classes are paced to the student’s level of experience, so that no matter what skill level the student arrives with, the entire class succeeds.

Day Five is Trauma Management.  The first half of this class will start in the classroom with an introduction to the environments and situations in which you might be rendering care. Then, using the tried and tested MARCH method, we will cover the fundamentals of major bleeding control, airway and respiratory system management, as well as secondary bleeding assessment and management. We’ll cover patient stabilization for transport, and basics of environmental factors in the trauma patient. Lastly, we will discuss useful supplies to have to build your own kit, and touch on mass casualty scenarios.

The second part of the day will be spent running different scenarios.  Students will need to ensure the scene is safe and then render aid on themselves or on others. There will be some live-fire involved for this second part of the day. Students will be working on a combination of role players with moulage and props to add to the realism and training value of the class.

This course is fantastic for teachers, church members, law enforcement officers, and business owners alike. All students will receive national Stop the Bleed Certification.

The day consists of 1-2 hours of classroom instruction, followed by live fire instruction.

There is a 30-60 minute lunch break, with lunch being provided by LTAC.
