Mossy Forge Hollow Training Camp Work Party

Spring storms blew down a massive widow maker and felled a total of 8 trees, completely blocking the trails into the camp ground. We will be holding a work party on May 24, 2025 to clear the trails and stack fire wood for upcoming classes. 

We will begin at 9am and work throughout the day. Mossy Forge will provide lunch and participants will be free to camp Friday evening (May 23rd) through to Sunday morning (May 25th) and explore the neighboring game lands (Area 31). 

If you’ve never used a chain saw, splitting axe or hatchet, there will be a free class on safe use and handling at 8am, prior to the start of the work party. 

Participants will be able to take firewood home with them if they choose to.
