Prepare Like an ODA Conference

Prepare Like an ODA Conference

from $75.00

On Aug 02, 2021 we released Season 3 Episode 5: Preparing Like an ODA, of the Lodestone Training and Consulting Podcast.  Jared and Chris talked about and shared principles and ideas of preparedness the Green Beret way. It's not 'What gun should I have?' or 'How many beans should I store?' that will help you in an emergency. It's 'How do I build my community of family and friends that will be able to pull together to overcome emergencies and the unknown?'

Since that episode dropped, the questions and conversations haven’t stopped.  It seems like every day something is happening in the news or in our personal lives. Inflation, shortages, crime, Big Brother watching, wars and rumors of war, corruption, the list goes on. This day-long special workshop will be led by Retired Green Berets Jared Ross and Chris Johnson. In it they will teach how to organize and plan like an ODA (Operational Detachment Alpha) or Special Forces team.

They will give a brief overview of the current state of the world, touching on things you may be following and some that you are not. They will talk about the “second and third order effects” of different events. After this brief, they will get into the main focus of the day: how to plan and organize like an ODA.

This day-long workshop is a perfect supplement to our other Mindset, Preparedness, and Austere Environment seminars and workshops. It is also a good time to meet up with old friends and meet like-minded individuals.

This workshop starts at 9:30 am and we intend to finish up by 5 pm, but let’s be honest, we’ll be there as long as we keep discussing. The day will be broken up into roughly hour-long blocks of instruction with an hour-long break for lunch.  There will be light refreshments.
