Street Fight - Pistol

This is a high-stress and demanding class that is broken down into two parts.The first part is live-fire on the flat range.It will consist of dynamic drills that build upon principles taught in the Pistol Combat Marksmanship and Pistol Combatives courses with an emphasis placed on fighting in a built-up urban environment.The principles and techniques taught in the morning will be reinforced during the “Lab” in the afternoon.Expect to be challenged with the course of fire.

The second half of the day will be held in the “Lab”. There will be NO live weapons.Students will use UTM or SIM Glock or M&P pistols for this portion of the class.The Lab will consist of an urban site with roads, surrounded by multi-story buildings in a unique 360˚ environment.Drills will build upon the morning’s lessons as students face potential threats from the street and surrounding buildings.We will leave the flat range far behind and embrace the real world.

There is a 30-60 minute lunch break, with lunch being provided by LTAC.

Class Details 

Class Length:  1 day
Audience:  Everyone
Prerequisites:  Level Two Pistol classes, or equivalent
Suggested Gear:

1.      Eye protection/Ear protection (preferably electronic)
2.      Pants with a belt (sturdy belt highly recommended)
3.      Pistol with 4 or more magazines
4.      Holster
5.      Kit, pouches, some way to hold your extra magazines
6.      Gloves
7.      Pistol cleaning kit
8.      Tactical light / weapon light
9.      Handheld light
10. Long sleeve shirt and any additional clothing wanted for force-on-force in the afternoon
11. 250 rounds of pistol ammo
