For Women: Intro to Pistol Marksmanship is the beginning of your pathway to mastery of the Handgun.  This course is targeted at women who are new to handguns and are looking for a solid foundation to build on.  This class offers the perfect opportunity for the student to become familiar with the safe manipulation and utilization of a pistol and prepares them to use a pistol in the defense of themselves and their family.

The class consists of approximately 2 hours of classroom instruction, followed by 2-hour live-fire instruction.

Class size will be limited to allow for more individual attention for each student.

Class Length:  4 hours
Audience:  Women only
Prerequisites:  None
Suggested Gear:

1. Handgun with 3 or more magazines

2.      Pants with a belt (sturdy belt highly recommended)

3.      Eye protection/Ear protection (preferably electronic)

4.      Quality holster (we like Kydex)

5.      Double magazine pouch

6.      Cleaning kit

7.     200 rounds of ammunition

3.      Loading and Unloading

4.      8 fundamentals of marksmanship

5.      Fundamentals of the draw

6.      Weapons maintenance

 

Live fire topics include: 

1.      Ready positions

2.      Foundation drills

3.      The draw

4.      Target identification

5.      Driving the gun

6.      Reloading techniques
