Dynamic Rifle Low Light
Dynamic Rifle Low Light
Dynamic Rifle Low Light is a continuation of learning how to use your Rifle in the dark. This class is not just about shooting under low light conditions. It is also about getting students experience with moving in the dark, with and without Night Vision Devices. The students will shoot various drills, gaining experience and helping them along the path toward mastery. This will be accomplished using both flashlights and night vision devices. This class will include different operations, such as working with a partner, maneuvering through the woods and various courses of fire. It will use a combination of paper, cardboard, and steel targets for the different drills.
We will start with a review of the concepts taught in Rifle Low Light - Day One. Students will then shoot some drills while there is still light. Students will move through various terrain in different light conditions, both with and without use of Night Vision Devices. Students will then do a series of dynamic drills under NODs. Every drill will incorporate movement and will be increasingly challenging. Students will gain not only an understanding of how the night vision devices work, but gain confidence in working and operating at night with these tools.
The day will consist of about 1 hour of classroom instruction, followed by live-fire instruction.
