AR Lower Build Workshop
AR Lower Build Workshop
During this workshop, students will build a complete AR Lower that can used for either a pistol or a rifle. Under the watchful eye of a Green Beret Weapons Sergeant, students will be walked through each step to complete their build. This experience will help improve the students' understanding of the AR platform. The RTG stripped lowers have the RTG Keystone logo and a quote from the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: “Shall Not Be Questioned”.
To start, students will pick up their RTG stripped lower and do their background check at Lanco Tactical. We will then move to the classroom, where students will receive the rest of their parts kits. We will have all the tools necessary for the students to do the work. A Green Beret Weapons Sergeant will talk through and demonstrate each step of the building process. He will share his insights along the way, so students can gain the maximum knowledge from this experience. We will go over how to do a trigger job on a standard mil spec trigger. Before SOCOM had contracts with great trigger manufacturers, we had to find a way to make our guns work at the highest level. We are going to pass that knowledge on to you.
This workshop only covers a Lower Parts build. Students can bring their own complete upper, purchase a complete upper at Lanco Tactical or at a later time. Lanco will also have different after-market accessories for purchase.
