In the Spirit of the Pennsylvania Light Fighter Challenge, this unique event will push your abilities to operate at night. It will require the use of flashlights, lasers and night vision as you are tested in the environment of darkness.
The Night Fighter Challenge starts with a timed walk along an approximately 3-mile trail using Night Vision. The path will be a trail over rugged terrain with elevation changes.
At the completion of the hike, you will go through an approximately 1 ½ mile-long course with different stages. Some stages will include Shooting with white light, Shooting with NODs and lasers, and passive. There will be individual CQB, Tac-Med, and other stages, all being run in the dark. The culminating stage will be Escape and Evasion combined with land navigation. There will be prizes for the top 10 competitors. This is the chance to challenge yourself at night.
Participants should arrive to check in at 4:30 pm.
