Home Med Station Seminar
Home Med Station Seminar
We rely on our medical professionals when we get sick or injured, but what would happen if you were unable to leave your home due to a natural disaster, civil unrest, or disease and can’t get to the doctor? Most of us have a medicine cabinet with band-aids and painkillers. We may even have a full first aid kit, but do we have the supplies and basic knowledge to care for ourselves and our loved ones if we are stuck in our homes and cannot get to medical care?
This seminar will start you on your road to building a Home Med Station. We will discuss when you may need to provide long-term, in-home care, what types of supplies you may want to use to stock your med station (including medical and hygiene supplies), how to organize your med station to make sure everything is accessible in an emergency, and methods for reducing stress in a stressful situation.
